So we have perfected our recipe thanks to trial and trial. I'd say error but I can't because we successfully drank each batch without complaint. This is the best version of our recipe thus far.
I had candied pecan bits left over from another recipe just asking to be put on something. Pre chopped bits tossed with melted butter, and Almond Rocca syrup ( my sweet cheat for candied things) and toasted up in the oven. Anyhow, as I made breakfast this idea popped into my bacon brain. Take cooked bacon half strips and dip one side flat into melted almond bark ( white chocolate dipping melt you can find in the grocery store). Lay them dipped side up and sprinkle with pecan bits. Popping them in the fridge for a few minutes will speed things up if the weather is warm.
